Team Profile:Afrikan Kiddies Football Academy

Formerly known as Eshin Football Academy and later Musty FA, Afrikan Kiddies Football Academy has grown into one of the most entertaining and technically gifted sides in the Kwara Kiddies League.

Established in 2012, the club became a founding member of the league in 2022 under the name Musty FA before adopting its current identity in 2023.

Based in the vibrant Oyun community of Ilorin South LGA, Afrikan Kiddies FA has remained a crowd favorite for their fluid and possession-based brand of football.

Operating with a tactically bold 3-5-2 formation, the team is known for building from the back and dominating the midfield with flair and composure—a style reminiscent of total football.

Afrikan Kiddies FA quickly made their mark in the league with back-to-back 3rd place finishes in 2022 and 2023, before finishing 6th in the 2024 season. Despite the drop in ranking, the team’s commitment to expressive football remains unwavering.

The name Eshin—which means horse—perfectly symbolizes the academy’s core attributes: strength, tenacity, and relentless drive, qualities that have become synonymous with the team’s identity on and off the pitch.
