Team Profile:Solicitor Football Academy

Founded in 2015, Solicitor Football Academy is a grassroots football team based at Ilorin Grammar School. A founding member of the Kwara Kiddies League in 2022, the team has grown into a respected and strategic force within the competition.

Often referred to as “the salt of the league” for their ability to spring surprises in high-stakes matches, Solicitor FA is known for its disciplined, defense-first approach.

The team plays a traditional 4-4-2 formation, frequently collapsing the midfield to protect the backline and launching quick, decisive counter-attacks.

Their defensive solidity came to full expression in 2024 when they recorded the 2nd best defensive record in the league, culminating in a top-four finish—their best performance yet.

Previous finishes include 6th place in 2022 and 9th in 2023, marking a steady rise in form.

Solicitor FA remains an integral and unpredictable presence in the Kwara Kiddies League, earning a reputation as one of the toughest team in the league
