Kwara Kiddies League Second Stanza Resumes September 20

The League Management Committee has announced that the second stanza of the 2025 Kwara Kiddies League season will kick off on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

The youth competition went on break after the completion of the first stanza, during which all participating teams played ten matches. Standout players from the league were also selected to represent Kwara State at the Rabat tournament.

Speaking on the resumption plans, the Chief Operating Officer of the league, Mr. Ibrahim Jatto, commended the clubs for their resilience and commitment during the first half of the season. He urged them to prepare adequately for the challenges of the second stanza.

Jatto further disclosed that participating teams will be allowed to strengthen their squads with new signings, while also making adjustments through player registration before the restart.

He assured fans that the return of league action will bring even more excitement and intensity.
“Supporters should expect an exciting and more vigorous campaign when the second stanza resumes in September,” Jatto said.

The Kwara Kiddies League has continued to serve as a breeding ground for young talents, with several players already drawing attention from top academies across the state.
