Kwara Kiddies League Announces Date for Season IV Grand Finale
The Organising Committee of the Kwara Kiddies YEG League has confirmed that the Grand Finale of the 2025 edition will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the KFA Pitch in Ilorin.
The highly anticipated event, scheduled to kick off at 3:00 p.m., will serve as the perfect climax to an exciting season of youth football.
The Kwara Kiddies League, a grassroots football platform designed to identify and develop young talents across Kwara State, continues to grow in impact and popularity.
Throughout the season, the league has provided children with opportunities to sharpen their skills, learn discipline, and embrace the values of teamwork through competitive football.
This year’s finale is expected to be the most vibrant yet, featuring final-day matches, funfair activities, kiddies’ games, an awards ceremony, and various entertainment packages for attendees.
Several prominent figures are billed to attend the event. Super Eagles forward and Chairman of Kwara Kiddies League Ltd, Taiwo Awoniyi, will serve as the Host, while the Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Idris Abdullahi Musa, will be the Chief Host.
The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, will be the Father of the Day.
According to the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Olaide Ahli, the league has become a major driver of youth football development in the state.
“The Kwara Kiddies League has grown into a powerful platform for nurturing the next generation of football stars. This Grand Finale is not just the end of a season, it is a celebration of the dreams, talent, and resilience of our young athletes,” he said.
“We appreciate all academies, coaches, parents, sponsors, and supporters who made this season a huge success.”
The Committee extended an open invitation to sports lovers, schools, academies, families, and the general public to come out and support the young footballers as they conclude another exciting season.
