Achievers Football Academy stands as one of the oldest and most experienced sides in the Kwara Kiddies League, bringing years of grassroots football tradition to the competition. Founded in 2006, the Adeta-based outfit joined the league as a founding member in 2022 and immediately made their presence felt.

The team made a thunderous debut in the 2022 season, securing 9 wins and finishing 5th on the log — a performance that established them as early contenders and a team to watch. Their well-drilled 3-5-2 formation, centered on midfield dominance and fluid ball movement, quickly became a hallmark of their identity.

However, the seasons that followed have not matched the promise of their inaugural campaign. In both 2023 and 2024, Achievers struggled to replicate their earlier form, finishing 10th and 11th respectively, with just 6 wins in 2023 and a repeat of that modest output in 2024. These back-to-back seasons of underwhelming results have left fans yearning for a return to the high-flying days of 2022.

Despite recent setbacks, Achievers FA remains a proud institution in Ilorin’s youth football scene. With a solid tactical identity and a history of player development, the academy has the foundation needed to bounce back. The challenge now lies in rediscovering the hunger, form, and intensity that once made them a league powerhouse.

As the Kwara Kiddies League continues to grow in competitiveness, Achievers FA will be looking ahead with hope and determination — aiming to rewrite their recent narrative and climb back to the upper echelons of the table.
