Team ProfileFuture Stars Football Academy –

Established in 2005, Future Stars Football Academy is one of the oldest and most respected grassroots academies in Kwara State. As a founding member of the Kwara Kiddies League in 2022, the Ilorin-based side—fondly referred to as the “No Struggle No Success Boys”—has consistently been a team that plays with flair, discipline, and tactical awareness.

Future Stars set the tone in their debut season by finishing 7th on the log with an impressive 7 wins, showcasing a dynamic 4-3-3 formation that emphasizes attacking football and midfield control. At times, they adjust to a more direct 4-2-2 system based on match demands, displaying tactical flexibility under pressure.

However, the academy endured a challenging 2023 season, unable to complete the campaign due to off-field crises. Their return in 2024 was marked with high hopes, but the effects of their layoff were evident as the team struggled to regain form and rhythm, finishing 10th on the log.

Despite their recent struggles, Future Stars FA remains one of the most technically gifted sides in the league, often praised for their beautiful style of play. With renewed focus and commitment, the team is looking forward to a strong comeback, determined to translate their attractive football into tangible results in the seasons ahead.
