La Planet Sports Academia is one of the powerhouse teams in the Kwara Kiddies League and a household name in grassroots football across Ilorin. As a founding member of the Kwara Kiddies League in 2022, La Planet began its journey with a rough start, finishing 10th out of 12 teams in their debut season. However, the team showcased remarkable improvement in the following year, mounting a serious title challenge in 2023 and finishing as runners-up — a testament to their resilience and growth. They typically operate with an interchangeable tactical setup, alternating between a 4-3-3 and a 4-3-2-1 formation, both of which emphasize general control of the game through patient buildup and ball retention. Their philosophy is built around possession football, technical excellence, and intelligent movement. Though they experienced a dip in form in the 2024 season, finishing 7th, La Planet remains one of the big teams in the league — respected for their football identity, player development culture, and competitive presence in every campaign.
