The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Kwara Kiddies League (KKL), Ibrahim Jatto, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Ilorin West Local Government Football Association.
Jatto emerged as Vice Chairman during the recently conducted elections for the new administration, alongside other executive members elected to lead the football stakeholders’ body.
The newly elected executives are:
Chairman: Mohammed Usman
Vice Chairman: Shehu Abdulkadir Ibrahim Jatto
Member: Busari Abdulmumeen
Member: Onagun Yahaya
Member: Aliyu Aminat
Speaking after his election, Jatto expressed appreciation to football stakeholders in the local government for the confidence reposed in him and the new administration.
He particularly acknowledged the support of the Women’s League, Coaches Association, Referees’ Representatives, Players’ Union and Club Owners, describing their backing as a motivation to work towards improving football in the area.
Jatto assured the stakeholders of the administration’s commitment to driving meaningful development across the local football cycle.
He further revealed that the new administration would introduce programmes and initiatives aimed at promoting the welfare, growth and development of football stakeholders across the Local Government.
The KKL COO also pledged that the administration will work closely with the various stakeholders to create a more organised and progressive football structure within the local government.
