The Kwara Kiddies League (KKL) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Eyeball, a technology-driven football platform focused on player development, performance analysis and talent visibility.
The partnership marks an important step in KKL’s commitment to creating a more structured and data-driven pathway for young footballers in Kwara State, connecting grassroots talent with opportunities beyond their immediate environment.
With 500+ young players participating in the Kwara Kiddies League, the partnership will provide coaches with access to professional player-development tools that can help them analyse performances, monitor player progress and better identify areas for improvement.
Through Eyeball, players participating in the league will have increased opportunities to have their performances documented, analysed and presented in a manner that can enhance their visibility to the wider football ecosystem.
Taiwo Awoniyi: “Talent Should Not Be Limited by Geography”
Kwara Kiddies League Director and Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi said the partnership reflects his vision of creating meaningful opportunities for young players coming through the grassroots.
“I know what being seen at the right moment did for my life. I want to make that possibility less dependent on luck for the next generation.”
He added:
“There is so much talent in Kwara and across Nigeria, but talent needs the right environment, the right guidance and the right opportunities to develop. This partnership with Eyeball is about giving our young players access to tools and pathways that can help them move closer to their dreams.”
Awoniyi further stressed that the objective goes beyond football matches.
“The Kwara Kiddies League is not only about giving children a place to play. It is about building a foundation for their development, both on and off the pitch, and ensuring that talented players have a better chance of being discovered.”
Eyeball: Turning Grassroots Performances Into Visibility
Eyeball views the partnership as an opportunity to bring modern player-development technology closer to grassroots football.
A representative of Eyeball said:
“Talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not always evenly distributed. Our partnership with Kwara Kiddies League is about helping to close that gap by giving young players and their coaches access to tools that can make development more measurable and talent more visible.”
“We are excited to work with a league that is investing in the next generation. By combining grassroots football with technology, we can help create a clearer pathway for players to develop, track their progress and potentially be discovered beyond their local surroundings.”
A New Chapter for Grassroots Football in Kwara
The Kwara Kiddies League believes the partnership will strengthen its broader objective of transforming grassroots football into a more organised, transparent and development-focused ecosystem.
Beyond competition, KKL is increasingly focused on player development, performance tracking, coaching support, talent identification and creating pathways to higher levels of football.
The partnership with Eyeball reinforces that vision and represents another step towards connecting the young footballers of Kwara with the wider football world.
