Afrikan Kiddies FA forward Sulyman Toyin has been named the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation Player of the Match following his outstanding performance in his side’s 2-1 comeback victory over Achievers FA in the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League.
Toyin was the driving force behind Afrikan Kiddies FA’s memorable triumph, scoring a superb second-half brace to overturn an early deficit and hand Achievers FA their first defeat of the season.
After Achievers took the lead through Jamiu Usman in the first half, Toyin sparked the hosts’ revival with a close-range finish in the 52nd minute before completing the comeback eight minutes later with a composed effort from an Isiaq Yunusa assist.
In addition to his two goals, Toyin delivered an exceptional all-round attacking performance. He completed five successful crosses into the penalty area, maintaining a perfect 100 percent crossing accuracy to consistently create problems for the Achievers FA defence.
His clinical finishing, creativity and overall influence on the game earned him the deserved Player of the Match award, capping a remarkable individual display that guided Afrikan Kiddies FA to one of their biggest victories of the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League season.
