Kwara Football Academy midfielder Azeez Afeez has been named the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation Player of the Match following his outstanding display in his side’s 2-0 victory over GAA Akanbi FC in the Week 5 fixture of the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League.
The influential midfielder produced a commanding all-round performance to inspire the reigning champions to another important victory.
Afeez completed the highest number of successful passes in the match, recorded the most tackles, and played a key role in both goals scored by KFA, underlining his importance to the team’s dominant display.
His creativity, composure in possession, and defensive work rate helped KFA control the midfield throughout the contest as goals from Obinna Godstime and Eko Martins secured all three points.
