Future Eagles forward AbdulSalam Fuad was on target as Kwara Football Academy emerged winners of the 2024 Kwara Kiddies League season for the third time in a role.
Kwara Football Academy, who have won the last two editions of the league, secured a 2-0 victory over Surprise Football Academy on the final day of the season.
After a goalless first half, Fuad opened the scoring for Kwara Football Academy with a spectacular free kick. The young forward curled the ball into the right bottom corner beyond the reach of the goalkeeper.
With a few minutes to the end of the game, Muhammad Fatai doubled the lead for the Champions, slotting home from inside the box to the excitement of the fans.
Kwara Football Academy won the 2024 Kwara Kiddies League with a total of 66 points from 26 games, while Suprise finished third with 44 points in their debut season.
Aside from the 18-point difference, the Golden Red Dragons clinched the trophy with fewer goals conceded, most wins, most goals scored, most clean sheets, and won the league with the most points tally ever.
