Future Stars, KFA Share Spoils in Thrilling 1-1 Draw

Future Stars held defending champions Kwara Football Academy (KFA) to a exciting 1-1 on Wednesday afternoon to the delight of the teeming fans at the KFA Main pitch.

KFA drew first blood in the 24th minute through Tobi Adeoye, who timed his run perfectly to connect with a sharp pass from Adisa Quadri. Adeoye made no mistake, slotting home to put the visitors ahead with a composed finish.

However, Future Stars responded early in the second half. In the 47th minute, Sodiq Abdulmalik fired in a clinical equaliser after latching onto a clever free-kick delivery from Qoyum Olohungbebe, restoring parity and sparking hopes of a comeback.

Despite both sides creating more chances, neither team could find a winning goal, leaving the final score at 1-1. The result reflects the growing competitiveness between academy sides in the league.
