Defending champions Kwara Football Academy (KFA) delivered a clinical first-half performance to record a comfortable 2-0 victory over GAA Akanbi FC in the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League on Saturday.
KFA made an impressive start to the contest and took the lead through Obinna Godstime, who calmly fired home early in the game to give the visitors the perfect start and settle any early nerves.
The defending champions doubled their advantage 13 minutes later when Eko Martins capped off a flowing team move with a composed finish, putting KFA firmly in control before the halftime break.
GAA Akanbi FC improved after the interval and enjoyed more possession as they searched for a way back into the contest.
The hosts created a number of promising opportunities but were unable to break down KFA’s disciplined defence, which stood firm to preserve the clean sheet.
The victory earned KFA another valuable three points, underlining their title credentials as they continued their strong defence of the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League crown.
