LA Planet Sport Academia, after struggling to compete last campaign are among the top teams competing for the title in the current campaign following impressive performance since the start of the season.
On Saturday, LA Planet continued its form with a narrow 1-0 victory over Makamz Football Academy, courtesy of a goal from Suleiman Abdulafeez in the second half.
The Eiyekorin-based club, after the visit, has twenty-seven points and closed the gap on table-topper, Afrikan Kiddies who have been without a win since the start of the second stanza.
However, LA Planet are still below defending champions, Kwara Football Academy, and league cup winners, Arsenal Kiddies, who occupy the second and third position respectively.
