Unicorn FA continued their impressive start to the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League season with a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Makamz FA in a tense Week Two encounter.
The visitors made their intent clear early in the game and were rewarded in the 29th minute when Oluwaseyi Adeyemi broke the deadlock with a composed finish, calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner to give Unicorn FA a deserved first-half lead.
Unicorn FA doubled their advantage in the 44th minute through Abubakar Muhammed, who finished confidently to send the travelling supporters into celebration and put the visitors in a commanding position heading into the break.
Makamz FA, however, refused to back down and responded after the restart.
Their persistence paid off when Olohuntoba Philemon pulled one back in the 55th minute, finishing smartly from inside the box to reduce the deficit and set up a tense final phase of the match.
Despite the late pressure from the hosts, Unicorn FA showed resilience and defensive discipline to protect their slim advantage and see out the game.
The result ensures Unicorn FA maintain their perfect start to the campaign as they continue their push to challenge Kwara Football Academy (KFA) for the title.
