Unicorn FA staged a spirited second-half comeback to earn a 2-2 draw against Busari FA in their Matchday 3 fixture of the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors made a bright start to the encounter and took the lead in the sixth minute despite Unicorn’s early dominance in possession.
Oseni Abdulfatai broke the deadlock for Busari FA, firing past the goalkeeper following a swift attacking move. Busari continued to pile pressure on the hosts and doubled their advantage 11 minutes later through Babatunde Abdulgafar.
The forward calmly slotted into the bottom corner after receiving a precise layoff from Abdulkareem Faruq, leaving the home supporters stunned.
Trailing by two goals at the break, Unicorn FA emerged from the dressing room with renewed determination and quickly found a route back into the contest.
Their resurgence began in the 37th minute when Oluwaseyi Adeyemi reduced the deficit.
The attacker showed remarkable composure under pressure to smash home an assist from Iyanda Abdulsamad, igniting hopes of a comeback for the hosts.
Unicorn continued to press for an equaliser and were rewarded in the closing stages of the game.
With two minutes remaining, they were awarded a penalty, which Tijani Abdullahi converted with confidence, calmly sending the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-2.

The hosts pushed for a dramatic winner in the dying moments, but Busari FA remained resilient defensively and held on to secure a share of the spoils.
