Rectitude FA’s Muhammad Muhammad has been named the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation Player of the Match following his impressive performance in his side’s 1-1 draw against Makamz FA in the 2026 Kwara Kiddies League.
The talented midfielder delivered a standout display throughout the contest, dictating play in the middle of the park and making a significant impact at both ends of the pitch.
His impressive outing was crowned with a superbly struck free-kick in the 57th minute, giving Rectitude FA the lead with a brilliant effort that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Although Makamz FA responded three minutes later through Gabriel Peter to earn a share of the spoils, Muhammad remained one of the game’s outstanding performers with his composure, creativity and influence in possession.
His outstanding contribution earned him the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation Player of the Match award, recognising his decisive role in helping Rectitude FA secure a valuable point in the closely contested encounter.
