Surprise Star FA delivered an impressive performance on Saturday, securing a 2-0 victory over Koller FA in their Kwara Kiddies League encounter.
The match, played under a cold atmosphere, saw Surprise Star take control early on. Just six minutes into the game, Olayinka Pelumi found the back of the net with a composed finish to open the scoring for Surprise Star FA.
The momentum remained firmly with Surprise, and in the 30th minute, Abdulganiy Abdulkadir doubled the lead with a well-taken goal, putting Koller FA under immense pressure.
Koller FA came out stronger in the second half, trying to claw their way back into the game. They came closest to scoring in the 42nd minute, but their effort rattled the woodwork and bounced out, denying them what would have been a lifeline.
Despite Koller FA’s improved showing after the break, Surprise Star FA held firm to secure all three points and a clean sheet.
