League leaders Afrikan Kiddies restored their 3-point lead at the top of the Kwara Kiddies League following a 3-1 win over Lucky Stars

Azeez Afeez of Afrikan Kiddies broke the deadlock in the 19th minute, for a 1-0 lead over Lucky Stars, before Muhammed Abdulroheem scored a fine header to make it 2-0 after the restart.

Just a minute later, Abdulroheem struck again, securing a quick brace and propelling Afrikan Kiddies to a commanding 3-0 lead by the 32nd minute.

Despite the uphill battle, Lucky Stars managed to pull one back, thanks to a beautiful freekick from Yahaya Abdulgafar in the 42nd minute, bringing the score to 3-1.

The defeat sees Lucky Stars sit at the bottom of the pile with three points following their reintroduction into the league last week.
